Brain Fog? Dump The Drugs And Supplements And Just Start Exercising!

As a health and fitness professional I work diligently on “discovering and deciphering” the very latest in scientific research.

And, as I have mentioned numerous times, I am always on the “look out” for misinformation that will lead my followers and clients astray!

Unfortunately, this is much more difficult that one might think.

Let’s be honest…

The MONEY is all on the side of the BIG GROUPS (with HUGE corporate interests); BIG FOOD, BIG PHARMA and even BIG AGRICULTURE! (and not you being healthy!)

I am pretty tired of the “doom and gloom” approach to our health in the United States!

I am confident in saying that without the “propaganda” models created by BIG food, pharma and agriculture, that our health would NOT be the worst of any of “developed and industrial” countries in the world.

To be fair, some of what is going on within the food, drug and agriculture industries should be considered illegal, and it is certainly unethical!

And think of it… all at the expense of our health.

Brutal!

What am I saying?

Most people receive their health information via ADVERTISING and MARKETING campaigns.

And though, there may be a glimmer of truth in these campaigns, the majority of the information gleaned from most corporate and advertising programs is truly deceptive.

There is good new though!

The truth is that the MAJORITY of us can live a high quality of life with proper nutrition and exercise, plus a healthy lifestyle.

For example:

  • How is your brain working these days?
  • How is your mental acuity?
  • Are you as “cognitive” as you once were?

If you are having challenges, have you already begun taking supplements, over the counter drugs or even prescription drugs to deal with the problem?

When in the world did the quality of our health come down to profit margins, shareholders, and lobbyists?

Did you try to modify your nutritional regimen before “jumping the gun” and start relying on some supplement or  worse yet, some drug?

Why?

Achieve Optimal Health With A Proper Mental Attitude

Looking to improve your “brain activity”? Exercise will be a better option than “this,” as well as supplementation and drugs!

What about exercise?  Do you understand the benefits that come with exercising when it comes to brain health?

Part of the reason exercise enhances cognition has to do with blood flow. Research shows that when we exercise, blood pressure and blood flow increase everywhere in the body, including the brain. More blood means more energy and oxygen, which makes our brain perform better.

This isn’t “brain surgery” people.  It is really pretty simple.

Don’t you think your productivity at work, or even your child’s results at school could benefit from an improved exercise regimen?

Duh, right?

In a great book, entitle “Brain Rules,” the author recommends having children wearing gym clothes to school and exercising throughout the day.  By doing this, the brain would never become inactive and the child’s results would be greatly improved!

Duh, right?

Let alone all of the other improvements exercising 20 minutes 3 times a day would have on your child, as well as you!

Look, the majority of us should be healthy (most diseases are not genetic, but created because of a poor lifestyle).

We should be having a high quality of life far into our senior years (sorry, not talking about high school here).

Please, don’t believe the hype produced by the propaganda models of BIG INDUSTRY and their corporate influence (remember, all marketers are liars?).  You, and we, can do better!

Seriously, are you eating, moving and living in a manner that will reap benefits to your health and fitness levels.  If not, why?

Do you really believe that a supplement or worse yet, a drug is going to magically make  everything better?

Hmmm.

Something to think about!
